The Task Force was way out of line in what they did. I have a Dr.'s release and am registered with the Green Cross as a medicinal marijuana patient. I'm also on contract to grow for an MS patient who is a Green Cross member too. They seized 24 plants which I sprouted from seed on the April moon, (half would be males). They took my office equipment, 11 halides, all my electrical supplies, fans, books, and smoking kit. I am charged with manufacturing and possession with intent to deliver. Basically everything that wasn't nailed down. They're challenging the validity of my documents. I have also been forbidden to practice as a licensed ethno-botanist/consultant. I can't believe they're doing this. They're job is to uphold the law, not act like an armed gang on a stealing frenzy. The raid was lead by Rod Ditrich. The Prosecutor is Jack Jones. They are holding me in the Thurston County jail. This is the first and only time I have ever been held in a jailhouse for anything. There was an incident in November, where a "friend" ripped me off for an entire crop and then called crime stoppers to cover his tracks and get a reward. His profile on me was so exaggerated, that they used satellite surveillance and opened an FBI file in my name. This is the biggest bunch of misuse of authority I have ever seen. These guys are crazed with fascism. I pled guilty and got 9 months work release mainly because someone was with me who was not involved. See, they charged him with the same thing just for standing next to me at the time of the raid. They told me that if I try to beat it, my friend would get raked over the coals, so I backed off. This time they don't have a human shield to stand behind. My bail was set at $2500.00, but the money will be better spent on defense. There's an MS sufferer in here who's doing a year for DUI, and they've taken her meds away. Can you imagine what that does to someone with such a severe degenerative condition? Another young woman complained of a stomachache and they sent her to the hospital where they removed her gall bladder. She's back in jail without as much as a day's recovery in the hospital, and all they'll give her for pain is Ibuprofen. When she cries, the guard just swears at her to shut up. Just for the record, I've been demanding my Dr. approved medicinal marijuana, but you can imagine the response. They told me as long as I grow or smoke, I will never do work release, or even qualify for probation. This is going to be a long fight, and these folks are about to get an education.
